H. Palmer Hall (1 October 1942 - 9 February 2013) was a poet, fiction writer, essayist, editor, and librarian who lived in San Antonio, Texas.

His recent book, Foreign and Domestic, is a collection of poems published by Turning Point Press in Cincinnati.  His poetry, essays and poems have appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, including North American Review, Connecticut Review, The Texas Observer, Florida Review, Briar Cliff Review and many others. He grew up in and around the Big Thicket of South-east Texas where many of these stories are set.
